Schertz Fire Department
Chief's Welcome
I am delighted to welcome you to the new Schertz Fire Rescue website; we hope residents and visitors will find this site a valuable resource. This site will be constantly changing, so please continue to check back to find out what is new with Schertz Fire Rescue.
Schertz Fire Rescue is an innovative department of 46 members. We have some of the most highly trained and highly skilled professional firefighters in the profession. Our members are proud to deliver high-quality customer service to citizens and visitors of the City of Schertz. We value our interactions with the community at numerous events throughout the year. Our department has a robust fire prevention education program that is delivered to most of the area's schools.
Schertz Fire Rescue has been adding special programs as we continue to grow. One of those programs we invite you to look at is our Jr. Fire Academy that we hold each June. Please feel free to drop in at any of our fire stations for a visit or a tour. If you see us out in the community or even at the store, please feel free to ask one of our firefighters to get an up-close tour of the fire engine.
Sincerely,
Greg Rodgers, Fire Chief
