Schertz EMS is accepting volunteer applications for field work.
If you are in the medical field (EMT, Advanced EMT, Paramedic) we have opportunities for you to volunteer your time:
- as a third person on our ambulances (staffed with 2 medics)
- staff first aid stations
- participate with city-wide PR events
- many other opportunities
Requirements
- DSHS Certification
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 18 years of age
Neither acceptance into the volunteer program nor participation in the volunteer program is a requirement to participate in a hiring process for a paid position with Schertz EMS. Nor does acceptance or participation in the volunteer program provide any preference in any hiring process for a paid position with Schertz EMS. Volunteer agrees and accepts that participation in this program does not constitute an employment relationship with the City of Schertz.
