The Schertz Community Tool Shed gives residents access to tools they otherwise would have gone without. Inside the shed, the community will find a collection of hand and gas-powered tools that can be used at no cost by residents, businesses, and community groups to clean and improve their properties. Using these tools, folks can do minor home repairs and projects, improving the overall attractiveness of our neighborhoods in Schertz. This program offers the opportunity for neighbors to help neighbors, building a sense of community and togetherness.
The community can reserve equipment online by going to Schertz.com/toolshed and creating an account. Equipment is available to borrow by appointment only. Pick-ups are Fridays at 8:30 a.m. or 3:00 p.m., with returns on Mondays at 8:30 a.m. or 3:00 p.m. Proof of residency is required when borrowing any item.
