Total Compensation for All City of Schertz Employees
As part of the city's ongoing commitment to transparency, the City of Schertz is introducing a new initiative: publishing employee compensation on the city website. As with most organizations, personnel costs - salaries and benefits are one of the largest components of the City's annual adopted budget.
With nearly 480 dedicated employees across several departments, our team is the heart and soul of the city, ensuring the services, programs, and projects that benefit our residents are carried out every day. From maintaining infrastructure and providing public safety to fostering community engagement and recreation, our employees are at the forefront of making Schertz a great place to live and work.
Enclosed in the links below are the Total Compensation Reports for all City employees. Total Compensation reflects the total cost the City incurred for the employee's services received between October 1 and September 30, to include wages, benefits and other related fringe provided to employees.
