Mini Golf at the Library brings the community together for a playful, one-of-a-kind experience inside the Library.
What began in 2016 as a Schertz Library Foundation fundraiser has grown into a beloved annual tradition. In its early years, the event helped the Foundation raise
funds for projects beyond the library's regular budget. Supporting the children's collection, expanding the eBook and eAudiobook collection, and replacing all catalog
computers with iPads have been a few of the completed projects. After the pandemic, Mini Golf at the Library returned with a renewed purpose: to offer a free , joy-filled event
to celebrate the conclusion of the annual summer reading program.
The Schertz Public Library is transformed into an 18-hole course where our community can celebrate the close of Summer Reading at the end of July with a fun free event for all ages. Each hole is uniquely designed, and holes are available for sponsorship by local businesses and organizations. Community support helps keep this event, free, fun, and memorable for patrons of all ages. Sponsoring a hole is a playful way to showcase your business, connect with the community, and help the Library continue offering engaging programs that bring people together.
