Mayor Michael Carpenter swore in City Councilmember Allison Heyward as the new Mayor Pro Tem at the February 5 Schertz City Council Meeting. In the instance Mayor Carpenter is unavailable, Mayor Pro Tem Heyward will fill in his place.
