The Schertz Blue Santa Program was created to help bring holiday happiness to families and children in need. In 2020, we introduced the Blue Santa Tree. Much like the Angel Tree, contributors can come to the department lobby to remove one or more tags from the Blue Santa Tree. Then purchase the appropriate gifts for the child described on the tags. Then bring the unwrapped gifts back to the department.
Applications for those individuals requesting assistance will be available beginning, Monday, October 17, 2022. The deadline for the applications will be Friday, November 18, 2022.
Those willing to donate can pick up a Blue Santa Tree gift tag beginning on Monday, November 21st in the Police Department Lobby (1400 Schertz Parkway Bldg. 6). Monetary and gift card donations will also be accepted. Donations and unwrapped gifts must be received by Monday, December 7th.
