Below is a statistical overview of a few of our electronic resources, as well as, statistics on Wi-Fi usage at the library from February 2021. In addition, we continued our Hotspot initiative with Bexar County through September of 2021.

Brainfuse Help Now Stats

Kanopy
Schertz Public Library continued to offer streaming video during 2021. Again this year, we saw an increase in usage with Kanopy. The linked document shows statistics for February of 2021. 

Wi-Fi Sessions

Niche Academy
Patrons can find tutorials and step-by-step instructions for accessing a variety of online resources, including eBook services and databases available with a Schertz Public Library card.

Bexar County Hot Spot Initiative
In partnership with Bexar County’s BiblioTech, the Schertz Public Library was given 100 hotspots for patrons to check out! This program has been funded for a twelve-month period with the hope that the Digital Divide further expanded by this pandemic, can be bridged. For more information, visit https://www.schertz.com/1971/Hotspot-Circulation-Policy  The hot spot program was in place through September 28, 2021. 

Digital Access Library Cards
The Schertz Public Library offers digital library cards to patrons who may only want or need access to electronic resources. Information on digital access library cards can be found on our website linked above.
