Schertz Firefighters to Fill the Boot for MDA Fri Aug 7 2009
The Schertz Professional Firefighters Assn. Local-4083 Will be doing “Fill the Boot” for MDA on August 14, 15 and 16 at the intersection of IH 35 & FM 3009. Times will be approximately. 11-1300 and 16-1800 hrs. Last year local firefighters raised $14,000 for MDA. All of the money raised stays in the San Antonio area for those who need it. It cost’s $800.00 to send one child to MDA camp, $85.00 per/min of research.
