4th of July Jubilee
Join the City of Schertz for the greatest tribute to freedom and fun at the 47th annual 4th of July Jubilee! Elements include a morning ’Let Freedom Run’ 5K and downtown parade; in the evening a carnival, live music, Float & Fireworks, festival food, family zone activities, and a Fireworks Spectacular...the perfect way to end a celebration!

Let Freedom Run 5K
Don your best patriotic gear and run along the Jubilee parade route prior to the parade. 2023 marks the 11th race in Schertz. The 5K will kick off at 9:15 a.m. Register for the race.
Parade
In a time-honored tradition, individuals and non-profit groups are welcome to join the City of Schertz for a Patriotic parade through downtown Schertz. The parade will start at the intersection of Schertz Parkway and Elbel Rd. at 9:30 a.m. Register your parade entry.
Float and Fireworks
Be sure to reserve your place for the coolest seat in the house early next year for the 4th of July Jubilee Fireworks Spectacular! Participants enjoy the show from the cool waters of the pool while lounging on patriotic pool noodles. Pool will open at 6:00 p.m. for those who have purchased tickets. Limited capacity for the event. Tickets may be purchased here.
Live Music
Groove Knight will be providing Live Music starting at 6:00 p.m. at Pickrell Park!
Kids Carnival
The Kids Carnival will be open at 11:00 a.m. at Thulemeyer Park.
Fireworks Show
Bring your blankets and lawn chairs to Pickrell Park for a spectacular finale to Jubilee. Sponsored by H-E-B, the Fireworks show is scheduled at approximately 9:15 p.m. or at dark.

Vendor Opportunities
Mobile food vendors who are registered/permitted with the City of Schertz are invited to take part in 4th of July Jubilee. This event will not limit types of food vendors signed up to be at the event. Contact us for an up to date list of registered food vendors.
Craft vendors who provide entertainment in the family zone such as face painting, caricatures, balloon art or similar services are invited to participate as an event vendor.

Project Flagline
Volunteers are needed for the annual 4th of July Project Flagline. Help us to continue this patriotic gesture of placing over 4,000 flags all along Schertz Parkway!
Flag placement will be on Friday, June 30 from 7:30 a.m. - 9:30- a.m. Flag takedown will be on Thursday, July 6 from 7:30 a.m. - 9:30- a.m.
